BEST Health Plan recently joined Colorado Association of School Boards at their 78th Annual Convention at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. During his introduction speech, Ed Pittaway, BEST Health Plan Manager,  referenced a great article from David Blumenthal which outlines the benefits of purchasing alliances, and the cost containment achieved by School District employers. The concept described in this article mirrors BEST Health Plan's model of health care delivery.
